Inpatient hospitalization programs in Lebanon are a form of drug rehabilitation facility which offers rehabilitation in a hospital or similar setting where the rehabilitation process can be overseen by medical staff as well as treatment professionals. As is generally the case with benzodiazepine and alcohol withdrawal, it is sometimes necessary for an individual to be in an inpatient hospitalization program while detoxing because some withdrawal symptoms can be life threatening. Inpatient hospitalization programs are also an option for those in Lebanon who wish to undergo medication assisted withdrawal, which is typically used in the case of illicit opiate or prescription pain reliever addiction. Most people in Lebanon who undergo this treatment route however and don't continue on with additional intensive treatment typically have very high rates of relapse. In either case, addicted individuals should follow up the detox process with an in depth recovery program either in inpatient hospitalization or in some other drug treatment facility.
